Strapped by the feet to a small surf-type-board, kite surfers are propelled through the water by enormous kite-sails attached to their harnesses and controlled with strings. It is a sight to behold when the wind is strong and the professionals are on the water. It is an enormously popular sport in this area due to the fantastic and almost daily perfect wind conditions along this coast.
